If you’re planning a trip to Yosemite this fall get excited! Everything you’ll need to entertain you is right in the park so set your Home security systems, book a hotel and get on the road. The wonders of Yosemite await!
Merced Groves – Particularly if you’ve got kids along for the journey, you can’t miss the giant sequoias. They get snowed in pretty early so hit them up first and pack a lunch. Leave early, too, as the traffic can get pretty bad in this section.
Tioga Road – If you’re looking for a scenic road, you can’t do any better than Tioga. It again can get crowded but it’s worth the hasslekeep an eye out for wildlife and some of the more breathtaking views in all of the park.
Rafting – If your family’s up for it, book a rafting trip down the Yosemite Valley. It’s a rush like nothing you’ve experienced and it will bond you as a family – it’s a great way to cap off a long trip to the park but don’t forget to pack for it! You’ll need water shoes!
