Celebrate this super-natural holiday at Yosemite National Park; stop by at Halloween weekend for spooky crafts, creepy tales, and night walks galore! On Friday, October 30, meet at the Yosemite National Park Cemetery for a stroll through the gravestones. This event is family-friendly, and you should bring a flashlight with you; the family will listen to tales of the cemetery residents.
On October 31, a trail of glowing pumpkins escorts you and your family to the fun and excitement waiting in the Happy Isles Nature Center! Join the friendly Yosemite rangers as you learn about the nocturnal creatures and creepy-crawlies that Yosemite hosts! These include spiders, bats, scorpions, and owls. The fun continues as you are led outside for a short night walk and some treats and hot drinks. The family should bring extra layers of clothing and a flashlight for this occasion. Both of these events are free, and start at 6:30-9 PM.
Just a 30-minute scenic ride away from the National Park, Yosemite Pines Resort offers affordable shelter and lodging for guests. On October 30th, come join the Pines Resort for the Haunted Hayride, along with an excursion to the Ghouls’ Cemetery and the Butcher Shop of Horror. You will be served chili and corn muffins; Yosemite Pines Resort is a great place to stay when you aren’t at the National Park.
